Dutch Game Garden
The good people of the Dutch Game Garden recently kicked off Game Garden Academy, a portfolio of online video courses about game business for starting game developers and students. As an industry, a lot of our knowledge and business experience stays within, but they figured it was time to share it with the world. Currently they have 4 courses, and each course contains interviews with experts in the game industry, including Rami Ismail (Vlambeer), Leonie Manshanden (Bioshock Infinite) and Katie Stegs (Crossy Road). You can use the code ACADEMY152 to get a discount for all our courses on Udemy! See here: https://www.dutchgamegarden.nl/academy/

‘Den of Wolves’ Megagame (Sat 14th April @ Frenchay Village Hall, Bristol )
South West Megagames are running a ‘megagame’ called ‘Den of Wolves’ in Bristol on 14th April. If you’re not familiar with megagames, they’re probably most comparable to a large board game/RPG hybrid style of event that takes place over a single day. The game has units and maps but also role-playing elements and a lot of communicating and negotiating with other teams.
Full information on the event and the game itself (it sounds awesome!) can be found here.
Game Audio South West meetup (7pm, Fri 23rd Apr @ King Street Brew House)
